The Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT) held remote meetings February 23 and 24, and a remote summer meeting June 3, 2026. Notable actions taken by Council at these meetings are outlined in this memo. 

The Council is currently seeking nominations for one (1) At-Large Administrator Representative, to commence at the conclusion of the Counci's fall 2026 meeting. Individuals are welcome to self-nominate and are due by May 1, 2026.

To improve services and better understand barriers to initial and continuing accreditation, COAPRT has launched two surveys—one for accredited member programs and one for non-accredited programs. Please complete the survey that best matches your program’s status. Your insight is essential to strengthening accreditation support and best practices.
