COAPRT PROGRAM TRAINING

The Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT) offers training to programs who will be completing a self-study. Programs scheduled for accreditation/re-accreditation are required to have a minimum of one faculty member complete COAPRT training within three years of their self-study.

COAPRT VISITOR TRAINING

The Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT) offers training to its site visitors. All approved visitors must have attended a COAPRT Visitor Training within the past five years on the current version of the standards before they can be assigned to a visitation team. All prospective visitors are required to attend a COAPRT visitor training.

    This COAPRT visitor training is designed to assist spring 2021 visit teams in leading virtual accreditation visits. Topics covered will include scheduling, use of Zoom or other meeting outlets and helpful tips to assist in leading a successful visit.

Individuals interested in serving as accreditation site visitors will also have the opportunity to either initiate or update their status as site visitors. Those who are new to the accreditation process and want to learn more are welcome.
